2024 The Peony Bouquet Pick Up SOLD OUT
10 or 20 stems of peonies, mixed varieties for what is available on the farm that week.- There is a chance you get all one color of peonies, as its whatever is harvest that week. (Pinks, Whites, Corals)
Being a perishable product we are not able to replace if you do not show up to pick up your bouquet on the designated day, fail to show up with forfeit the bouquet and cost paid.
If you are not able to pick up you can send someone to pick up for you.

Dates can change due to weather conditions or how the weather effects the fields. Watch your emails and spam for details.
Our peonies are standard 3/4 to 1” diameter bud size. Some varieties could be just under 3/4". Fully bloomed can be 4” to 7” diameter bloom depending on variety
Corals are semi-double blooms and will lose their petals first and fade from coral to cream/white (they do not like the heat). We do strip most of our foliage off the stems leaving the top 2 only. We also remove the secondary (side buds), there is a change we change our practice for 2023 and leave them but this will be left to our discretion
Peonies are part of nature. Meaning we can't control if a bloom opens, how long it will last, when will it drop the petals. We can provide our recommendations (Below) on how to give the stems the best chance for longer vase life. Depending on variety, vase life can be 2 days up to 8 days.
How they look upon arrival
Immediately cut the stem and put in fresh cool water. They will perk up within 24 hours.
If you have a bud that doesn't seem to be opening, you can try to pull down on the outer petals with your thumbs, loosening them up. Placing in the direct sunlight or turning the bud upside down in warm sink water, twisting it for 10 seconds.
Misc
There is no guarantee each bud will bloom as there are many factors. We are unable to replace or refund for a stem that does not open or drops petals quickly. If you have more than half your stems that do not open, we will happily replace for you or find another solution. Please email photos to redtwigfarmsohio@gmail.com of them in the vase together. Vase Life: Depending on the variety can be 2-8 days if properly changing water, cleaning the vase, re-cutting the stems and keeping them away from the sunlight or any heat source. The longer they are outside in a shipping box or left at the door the shorter the vase life. Floral food is not required with peonies.
Flowers tell a story. We are able to determine how long a bloom was left outside in the heat, whether it has had a fresh cut with new water. Please make sure to follow the care instructions for the best vase life!
